The Neuropathology Division of the Department of Pathology provides diagnostic services for surgical neuropathology specimens, pituitary biopsies, nerve and muscle biopsies, postmortem evaluations and forensic neuropathology. In addition, the Neuropathology Consultation service evaluates the broad range of neuropathological specimens for practitioners and families from outside our institution.  The Neuropathology Laboratory has two full time technologists and performs diagnostic studies as well as fee-for-service research histology.  We can be reached at 615-322-3998 or 800-551-5227.
